Analysing 5 Adverts

Nike:
The style of advert which was shown was Parodic. Parodic because these idols like Cristian Ronaldo and others would not be seen playing football in a casual park like they was at the start of the advert. Testimonial is clearly used in this advert as there are many famous footballers in the advert. This will help get whatever they want across as there idols are in the advert. It is most likely aimed at young teens as all there idols are in the advert it will most likely get them more interested in the thing they are trying to get across.

Skittles Advert:
The style of the advert is humorous . It shows that everything the man touches turns into skittles which would make kids laugh. It is important that the kids enjoy the advert as it is aimed at a young audience because it talks about rainbows which make children happy which is who the product is meant for.bThe form is stand alone because it does not have a series. A technique which is used is a hidden message. The persuasive techniques that are used are used is that the skittles never end and they describe that it taste like a rainbow, which makes it even easier for them to children. The conventions that are used are that it shows the product through out the advert.

Wonger Advert:
The wonga advert has definitely got a humorous style to it, this is because we see an animated elderly group of friends advertising their product and making people laugh. The elderly man tries to impress these woman in each series of the advert, rather than getting to the point of selling their product. This advert appeals to classes E, D and partly C2, this is because we assume these classes are more likely to be in need of a loan.

Lynx Advert:
Lynx's Fallen Angles advertisement has been made within a Surreal style. The events that happen in this ad would never happen in real life. Therefore, make the advert strange but entertaining. The ad technique that has been used is a hidden message: if you buy and wear Lynx Excite, women (angles) will fall for you. Moreover, another technique that has been used is the attempt to provoke and emotional response and make the viewers question their self-perception. The ad aims to make men feel that they would benefit from wearing Lynx deodorant and that they would be more attractive to women. The advert is aimed at young men aged between 16 and 30; these men are the most likely to be interested in attracting female attention and therefore the perfect customers for the message the advert promotes.

Twixx Advert:
The style of the Twixx advert is definitely parody. They are talking about how each twix is slightly different by the way they make them but they taste exactly the same. The message in the Twixx advert is that both twix bares are exactly the same. I think the twix advert is aimed at the audience targeted between 20-50 years old as it has an old them to it.
